Historia
Bill Belichick is one of the most intriguing yet enigmatic figures in contemporary American sports. He is the best professional football coach of our era, and his New England Patriot teams are the winner of three of the last four Super Bowls, including one of the most stunning upsets in that championship series. Yet until now, Belichick has deliberately stayed as far from the spotlight as possible, proving himself as elusive as he is talented.

IT STARTED WITH FACING THE PETER PRINCIPLE!
Revisado: 09-11-17
This book explains how Military dad and son William never did what kills so many dreams: both excelled and were quite content w the jobs they had, dad at Navy, Bill at the old Baltimore Colts.
Far exceeded my expectations: factual without being "psychological". Strategic, strong, patient, prudent, practical, just, loyal - all these quiet elements of the education of the coach who trains on my NEW [JERSEY] Jets año y año etc! /schneider/

Historia
Using portraits of America’s flawed policy makers and accounts of the forces that drove them, The Best and the Brightest reckons magnificently with the most important abiding question of our country’s recent history: Why did America become mired in Vietnam, and why did we lose? As the definitive single-volume answer to that question, this enthralling book has never been superseded. It is an American classic.

Before there was "groupthink"
Revisado: 06-01-17
Anyone with interest in what is happening *now* would do VERY well to pick up this $56+ masterwork for a credit or free trial w Audible. The book is 37 hours long, never boring. The facts contained here are jaw dropping, literally. Halbertam's body of work is generally amazing. This book is that book where I must use the M word: MASTERWORK. The delivery is duly dry and inspired: reader lets the facts do the work. Probably the best value four a credit I've used in 14 years w Audible.

Historia
Originally published in 1979, the first volume of the best-selling "Gonzo Papers" is now back in print. The Great Shark Hunt is Dr. Hunter S. Thompson's largest and, arguably, most important work, covering Nixon to napalm, Las Vegas to Watergate, Carter to cocaine. These essays offer brilliant commentary and outrageous humor, in signature Thompson style. Thompson's razor-sharp insight and crystal clarity capture the crazy, hypocritical, degenerate, and redeeming aspects of the explosive and colorful '60s and '70s.

Not a great reader, still better than Hunter
Revisado: 03-21-17
Hiunter was a *writer*.
Think audio book has gotten a bad rap BC Scott Sowers not being very gooid, in fact that is true. Still- unless Johnny Depp records iit, it's good enough.
*Hunter* himself talks too fast, often in a franetic mumble. For that:, there's gonzo papers + have tne text!
Writing this good isn't ruined. In fact the enuciuation is great, there's just too much unnecessary screaming.

Historia
A harsh and revealing political exposé of two beloved presidents. Judge Andrew P. Napolitano reveals how Teddy Roosevelt, a bully, and Woodrow Wilson, a constitutional scholar, each pushed aside the Constitution’s restrictions on the federal government and used it as an instrument to redistribute wealth, regulate personal behavior, and enrich the government. Theodore and Woodrow exposes two of our nation’s most beloved presidents and how they helped speed the Progressive cause on its merry way.

Please Do It Again and Do It Right
Revisado: 12-18-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Theodore and Woodrow to be better than the print version?
no.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Theodore and Woodrow?
historical facts revealed and the way in which they affected the law.
Would you be willing to try another one of Scott Moore’s performances?
No.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
In the first chapter, as one of the million of so lawyers in the U.S., Mr. Moore's lack of experience with the law as he tried reading a book about the most complex of issues in the Constitution, forcing me to mentally translate his irrelevant points of stress in a sentence in to what Judge Napolitano was trying to convey.
Any additional comments?
IF you could get Judge Napolitano, or at least someone familiar with constitutional law to read this book, I would buy it again. It is truly a great book. Judge Napolitano is trying to explain the most complex of legal concepts to the layperson. Ironically, my guess is that reader Moore as a layperson is the worst type to do this.
