Bad quality ripoff from Thay's dharma talks
Revisado: 04-17-19
The audio is of horrible quality, there are some glitches in it. It seems like they just took Thay's dharma talks straight out of YouTube and even put their own advertisements in there and published it. Don't buy this, go to plumvillage YouTube instead and search "Thich Nhat Hanh dharma talk" instead. He is the best teacher there is.

Historia
In the words of the Buddha, the four foundations of mindfulness (the four sadhipatthanas) are " the direct path for the purification of beings, for the surmounting of sorrow and lamentation, for the disapperance of dukkha (suffering) and discontent, for the acquiring of the true method, for the rea;ization of Nibbahna." Within the quinitessential discourse called the Satipatthana Sutta, we find the Buddha's seminal teachings on the practice of meditation.

Simply great, with just one big annoyance
Revisado: 02-02-19
J. Goldstein is the best Vipassana teacher with his insights and calm voice. These audiobooks only have one problem: The interlude music between the chapters is way too loud. Either you manually lower the volume before it begins or risk hearing impairment.

Not enough information or examples

Inner Work by Robert A Johnson is much better, even though it is 8 hours / 220 pages. It also has much better narration.

Great content with a pleasure to listen narration
Revisado: 08-29-18
This book is a must-have for anyone interested in Jungian psychology, especially for people who want to do shadow work or any other kind of inner work to achieve self-actualization / individuation.
It's also great if you're just interested in analysing your dreams, because it teaches the basic principles of Jungian psychology, without going overboard with the details of the theories and getting boring for a layman, but still gets you interested in reading more.
The narration is a real pleasure to listen to.

Historia
In 1957, four years before his death, Carl Gustav Jung, psychiatrist and psychologist, began writing his life story. But what started as an exercise in autobiography soon morphed into an altogether more profound undertaking. The result is an absorbing piece of self-analysis: a frank statement of faith, philosophy, and principles from one of the great explorers of the human mind.
