Ugly love
Admitting you read this book in and of itself is an embarrassing act. So me admitting that I not only read this book but ATE it up is mortifying. What has Colleen Hoover been thru?! And why did it make her so good at writing you know what??

The last like third of this book is too real. Men will say they won’t catch feelings/don’t want a relationship and only want friends with benefits and then do the most boyfriend sh*t ever. Very realistic and triggering. Then, the end feels a little love-bomby. If a man goes to 0 to 100 like that in real life run mama.

She perfectly incapsulates chemistry/sexual tension in a deeply scary way. Mark my words this will NOT be the last Colleen Hoover book I read. Another stamp on my Hoovinator Fan Club Card.

Well. I’m officially a Hoovinator. A Hoovie. A member of the Hoov Gang. This book was literally incredible I read it in a day.

I had two questions as I began this book. Is Atlas real name and is it physically possible to still be attracted to a man after seeing him in a onesie?

Nothing terrifies me more than picturing the women who buy the emo winter bouquets of flowers. I’m picturing women with straightened hair, heavy eye makeup, and Cheshire Cat/Alice in wonderland paraphernalia.

The scene that includes the title of this book is so sweet and unexpected. Colleen Hoover you will always be famous. Sister can write!

This book proves that the London Regency era will forever be That Girl. There is something to the idea of a season to literally date and wear fancy dresses that I am forever grateful I can escape to in literature but by no means need to do in my real life. The storylines all take from Bridgerton, Little Women, and Pride and Prejudice and somehow it has parts that make it unique. I enjoyed all three story lines but as a self-identified Amy March, the Kallie/Adam storyline really did it for me. I will be SEATED for a sequel. (less)
