Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: Seabiscuit was a runaway success, and Hillenbrand’s done it again with another true-life account about beating unbelievable odds. On a May afternoon in 1943, an Army Air Forces bomber crashed into the Pacific Ocean and disappeared, leaving only a spray of debris and a slick of oil, gasoline, and blood. Then, on the ocean surface, a face appeared....

Absolutely Incredible
Revisado: 10-08-21
It's hard for me to even find words to describe how unbelievable this story is and then accept the fact that it's true! This truly is a story of strength and resilience and I have recommended this book to so many people! I haven't watched the movie adaptation yet because as all know, the book is almost always better than the movie. Thank you Louis Zamperini for sharing your incredible story with us!

Historia
From the duo behind the massively successful and award-winning podcast Stuff You Should Know comes an unexpected look at things you thought you knew. Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant started the podcast Stuff You Should Know back in 2008 because they were curious - curious about the world around them, curious about what they might have missed in their formal educations, and curious to dig deeper on stuff they thought they understood.

As a big Stuff You Should Know podcast fan, I was eager for Josh & Chuck's book to come out. They are great to listen to and did an excellent job narrating this mostly interesting ;) book.

Excellent Intro to Basics
Revisado: 10-08-21
This short book did a great job explaining MS, treatments, and what life can be like with the disease. It was very helpful for a newly diagnosed MS sufferer to learn more things that I'd kind of read on the internet but were more easily understood the way this doctor explained.

Historia
Hi! I’m Seth! I was asked to describe my audiobook, Yearbook for websites and shit like that, so...here it goes!!! Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the first one.”) I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs, and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like.

Wonderful!
Revisado: 05-28-21
This was one of those books that I was so sad when it was over because I love every minute of it. The full cast was a great touch and made the stories even more enjoyable. Seth Rogen was an excellent narrator and has a terrific sense of humor.
I’ll finish by saying this is the first and probably only review I’ll ever leave, because I loved the book so much.

Good, but...
Revisado: 03-16-20
I loved David's first book and his narration in it and was looking forward to another performance in Polaroid Guy. The stories themselves were mostly great and I enjoyed listening to them. However, it seems in this book he made SEVERAL more sound effects than in the previous and it drove me nuts. Super annoying, loud, long, and unnecessary kept me from thoroughly enjoying this book. I actually could not even listen to the last hour or two of it because I couldn't tolerate the sound effects anymore. Other than that, great stories and happy to hear David narrate it normally.

Amazing Narrator for a Great Story
Revisado: 08-06-18
I have always loved the Harry Potter books and was able to read the first three in the physical copies of the books until a few weeks ago when I got too busy with school to continue on with the series. I am so glad I made the decision to purchase the audiobooks because it is an entirely different and more enriching experience. Jim Dale is the best narrator I have ever heard and keeps the stories feeling magical, giving each character a unique voice. Absolutely 10/10 recommend listening to him in all the books in the Harry Potter series. I actually think when I'm done with books 5-7 I might start over and buy the audiobooks for 1-3 just because the narrator makes it such a more unique, and in my opinion BETTER, experience.
