My mother was 14 when war broke out and she lived in Erith in Kent so this book made me think of her and I wished that I could talk to her but she died a couple of years ago.

Terrific book and narration

I went to Marquette in the Al McGuire years and went to many games. The narration puts me right back in the Arena watching the games. He does a great job putting us on the edge of our seats waiting to see if the ball goes in. I also enjoyed hearing the ball player's side of the game from college on up. It was also nice to hear Marquette mentioned. Grisham does a great job making you feel like it is really happening.

What made the experience of listening to Power Down the most enjoyable?
Much of it seemed plausible even if not realistic. I was definitely drawn into the story and can't wait to listen to more of the books
Which character – as performed by Peter Hermann – was your favorite?
I don't have a favorite but Peter Hermann makes them all come alive.
Any additional comments?
I was looking for something to listen to in the car with my adult son that we both might like. He likes action stories but they don't all grab me. This one did. I recommended it to my daughter and she is caught up with Andreas now. I hate to turn the car off as that is where we listen and the story stays with me. My son and I actually have discussions about things in the book

The dissonant team heads to remotest Yellowknife - mining country - to pursue an ever more sinister trail.

What did you love best about Bones Are Forever?
It was another great Temperance Brennan book. I like that she is back in Montreal and Ryan is in the book.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
You never know where the story is going to go next. Reichs keeps you wondering until the end.
Any additional comments?
I wanted it to go faster but I didn't want it to end. I can't wait until the next one.
