I would recommend this book to friends who like a bit of fun and adventure and a female heroin.
What does Zara Ramm bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I think Zara Ramm's timing is incredible and her voice for Max, perfect. The humorous bits were well performed.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I giggled at Max and her reaction to situations. She had good lines that coloured her character to full bloom. Truly a heroin amongst a useless bunch of men.
Any additional comments?
A good light-hearted listen when you don't want to take things too seriously.

What made the experience of listening to The Ritual Bath the most enjoyable?
Likeable characters that unfold. The narrator does a very good job with the individuals.
What did you like best about this story?
Detective work, mystery and a hint of romance in the background. Keeps you very interested especially in the learning of Judaism customs and beliefs.
Which character – as performed by Mitchell Greenberg – was your favorite?
Peter Decker is the extremely likeable 'hero'.
Any additional comments?
Only download if you have time to spare. You will be addicted immediately. This book is well narrated and an interesting insight into an Orthodox Jewish community, their rituals and why they believe what they do. You are sure to want to continue the series.

Yes, especially if they like following a series. I listened to the preview and was hooked.

It has very likeable characters.

I purchased the 2nd book in the series before I have finished the first. I am looking forward to listening to more. Well narrated so far.

What would have made Lick better?
The intent was there but the storyline lacked depth. Too unbelievable and the pace was all wrong.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I didn't think the character voices matched that of what was intended. I couldn't listen to their "voices" any longer

Tried hard to keep reading but life is too short to waste time
