Not worth it

Honestly, I expected much more quality from a legend such as Reid Hoffman. It’s more a very long essay on why VC firms are right, rather than a real how to book for entrepreneurs. Much better to read the Lean Startup series by Eric Ries.

Good book... you can find everywhere online

The stories are interesting, but can be found everywhere online. Hardly any fact mentioned was original, and the "science" is basically what Eric Ries (Lean Startup) and Sean Ellis (GrowthHacker) say on their complementing theories, with the authors' own words. Not much of an original content, but a light and entertaining book nonetheless. Recommended if you've never heard of the case studies and / or Lean Startup methodology.

I loved Built to Last and Good to Great, so I was pretty excited to read it, but I was somewhat disappointed. The content isn't as thoroughly researched, the lessons to be learnt aren't as clear, and the book ends without creating that "wow" feeling that the previous books did. At least it was short...

Worth the length | Terrific business novel

It is an outstanding book that lays out the basic fundamentals buffet used to get where he is. Although I would've loved less of his personal life and more of his business life, one cannot be understood without the other. Absolutely recommended!
