Quick but impactful, just like the show. The author also helpfully provides context to the lessons learned in Ted Lasso with commentary from experts. I appreciated all of it while I'm the midst of healing.

Essential for Public Administrators
Revisado: 10-16-23
I listened to this for a Public Management course for my Master program and believe it is an important read for those who deal with administrative rules, policy making, or policy planning.
Being a book about Administrative Burden, it is as lively as it can be, but the Authors do an excellent job of analyzing burden in various American public programs.

Historia
Social psychologist and Professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business Brian Lowery argues for the radical idea that the “self” as we know it, does not exist. The self—that “voice in your head”—is a social construct, created in our relationships and social interactions. We are unique because our individual pattern of relationships is unique. We change because our relationships change. Your self isn’t just you, it’s all around you.

Excellent listening to and will likely re-listen

I believe this could help a lot of people better define who they are, or, how they see who they are. Perhaps the theory could be taken a bit further past social creation, though.

Historia
This book is an exploration of the wisdom in the Viking Age poem "Havamal", specifically as it relates to the average person who isn't a scholar of Old Norse, or even an enthusiast of Viking culture. This book is for the layman, the average person who simply wants to improve their life using proven advice. The poem "Havamal" is earthy, cynical, stoic, and grim in its depiction of human life. Havamal means “The Words of the High One”. The poem's speaker is none other than Odin, King of the Gods, who has traveled the many worlds seeking power and suffered greatly in his quest.
