Disappointing final installment
Revisado: 04-29-25
This book is mostly repetitions and inconsistencies. It was an incredible series which makes this final book so much more disappointing.

Super fun. Can't wait for the rest. Just wish the books were a bit longer, but that's after I just finished Brandon's 57 hour beast. so perhaps I'm biased.

Over hyped
Revisado: 12-13-24
I think I built too high of an expectation for this. reread all 4 inheritance cycle books before even picking it up, and became very excited only to be bored to death.
I didn't find myself caring about anything in the plot.
Voice performance was good and comfortable, it's lovely that the same artist did this book as well.

The first book took longer to get started than my old tractor, but this has better pacing.
there are some unusual repetitions though, which breaks the imagination when you're annoyed at listening to the same words you heard only a few hours earlier. how bad does she expect our memory to be? xD

Interesting concepts
Revisado: 10-20-24
For me, unfortunately, this is too much drama. I found myself finishing it and liking it. But alas, it's a bit too "chicky" for me.
Nearly dropped the book on the first serial interaction as I thought it's a 'romance fantasy' or textual porn as I like to call it.
Glad I didn't though, as there weren't too many of those interactions and the concepts applied in the story was very unique and entertaining.
Alas, the drama was just a bit too thick for me.
If you enjoy drama though, this would likely be a knockout for you!

Who needs drugs when you're clinically insane
Revisado: 07-15-24
This book was a ride.
I'd say is this is result of someone being gifted with language but being in the unfortunate disposition of being clinically insane, then having an editor that reads that work and goes, ahh f@#k it.
At times, I was utterly hooked, equally in the characters development, tentions and, uncharacteristically for me, the drama.
Then at other times, it was like taking a poop in someone else's back yard, not knowing if they have big dogs or not.
You know you need to push through, but constantly ask yourself: "Is this really what I should be doing right now?"
Lovely journey all together.
Only thing I'd have liked more, was slightly more contact between the switches between the fake past and the current, as both were set in unknowns, it often took me half a page before I was certain which one of two were were in at the time.
