Entertaining and insightful
Revisado: 08-23-23
Having been a B5 watcher since the Gathering first premiered 30+ years ago, I watched every B5 episode countless times. I discovered this podcast in June of 2023 and having listened their take on the Gathering I knew that I would be excited to listen to their journey to the War without End episodes which I finally got caught as the second episode premiered which was so fun and exciting to listen. Now that we are moving past that I cannot wait to see how Jeff and Brent's journey through the second half of Babylon 5 goes. It is just unfortunate that now I have to wait a week for each episode.

Historia
Experience Star Wars: A New Hope from a whole new point of view. On May 25, 1977, the world was introduced to Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and a galaxy full of possibilities. In honor of the 40h anniversary, more than 40 contributors lend their vision to this retelling of Star Wars. Each of the 40 short stories reimagines a moment from the original film, but through the eyes of a supporting character.

Interesting idea but noticable contradicts itself
Revisado: 10-11-22
I had a hard time working through this. The stories get stuck in certain places like the Most Eisley cantina. Which leads to multiple stories of the same events from multiple perspectives that distractingly contradict each other, and it isn't just one character's impression. In example, there is one story that talks about Greedo being at the cantina with a partner and another one where Greedo trips over someone to crashes on the floor. There is other stories where R2 has completely different experiences onboard the sandcrawler that contradict each other. I can take contradictions with Star Wars canon but contradictions between stories in the same book just takes away from the book.

Historia
East Antarctica: the coldest, most desolate location on earth. Two-and-a-half miles below the ice cap is Vostok, a 6,000 square mile liquid lake, over 1,000 feet deep, left untouched for more than 15 million years. Now, marine biologist Zachary Wallace and two other scientists aboard a submersible tethered to a laser will journey 13,000 feet beneath the ice into this unexplored realm to discover Mesozoic life-forms long believed extinct - and an object of immense power responsible for the evolution of modern man.

First half was good

I was really enjoying this book until half way through, when suddenly it was about aliens and conspiracies instead of monster book like The Loch
