I am struggling in my A&P 121 class. Trying to cram for my first big test, I came across this podcast. I cannot express my gratitude enough for how much it has helped so far. She explains things in a way I am able to understand better. I hope I will do much better on my exam tomorrow and for my future exams. From a future RN

Historia
In this revelatory, authoritative portrait of Donald J. Trump and the toxic family that made him, Mary L. Trump, a trained clinical psychologist and Donald’s only niece, shines a bright light on the dark history of their family in order to explain how her uncle became the man who now threatens the world’s health, economic security, and social fabric.

What an extraordinary book. I listened to the whole thing in one day.
Just when you think you know so much about this disasterous creature that occupies our White House, hold on tight.
Mary Trump PhD does an amazing job going into great detail about how this monster became who he is. It's hard to understand how some people can be so ruthless, so cunning, and so lacking in empathy. The deep psychological malfunction of some members of Trump family is astounding. It only shows you more how imperative it is to get him out of our White House

Historia
Celie has grown up poor in rural Georgia, despised by society and abused by her own family. She strives to protect her sister, Nettie, from a similar fate, and while Nettie escapes to a new life as a missionary in Africa, Celie is left behind without her best friend and confidante, married off to an older suitor, and sentenced to a life alone with a harsh and brutal husband. In an attempt to transcend a life that often seems too much to bear, Celie begins writing letters to God. The letters, spanning 20 years, record a journey of self-discovery and empowerment guided by the light of a few strong women.

If you've seen the movie, it's eye opening to read the book. I was blown away and had tears on several occasions. Very well written and there are many differences from the film.

Historia
Road rage, school shootings, workplace violence, domestic abuse, drug addiction, and even the national obesity epidemic are manifestations of an overarching problem gripping our society: anger. Other books about anger are on the market, but this is the first and only "diet" from anger: a practical, step-by-step 30-day program designed to help listeners cleanse their lives of the toxic effects of anger. As Dr. Shoshanna points out, "It is one thing to have an intellectual understanding of what is harmful. It is something else to know how to actually get rid of anger in your life."

Fantastic
Revisado: 01-06-20
This book will change your life, if you let it.
Depending on how angry you are deep down inside, it's definitely challenging. If you are willing to take a hard look at yourself and change, it will take a lot of work and self-care.

You did a good build up, until you got to the toilet paper. Although amusing, it just went downhill from there.
