What did you like best about The Bees? What did you like least?

I liked the concept / idea the most. I liked everything else the least.

What could Laline Paull have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Have a different narrator.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Most bee voice characterizations were snobby or holier-than-thou. The regular narration was that way, too.

Was The Bees worth the listening time?

No.

Any additional comments?

The book could have been better story-wise if there were more sub-plots or smarter reveals. The story was far too linear for my liking. The descriptions were rather plain, too -- I expected more of my imagination to be stimulated with visual ideas, for example. There was much text around smells and chemicals -- but these, too, were too narrow to let my imagination play.

A good summary of concepts and ideas in this discipline. The "Alpha Audience" emphasis in the book has driven me to focus on it more going forward.

Quite simply a great book about moving your stuck business forward. Jay Abraham gave me some new hope.

Unscientific, but cute.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Those who would appreciate some Christian references, those who want a beginner's entry into the self-improvement world, those who want a chuckle.

Has Rhinoceros Success turned you off from other books in this genre?

Very slightly -- I already admire the genre. I say "very slightly" however because it re-enforced my long-term impression that some self-improvement books are highly subjective and unscientific.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The author was enthusiastic and humorous.

Any additional comments?

I laughed appreciatively with the humorous comments a few times. PS this is a relatively short audiobook.
