Historia
There’s chaos in Hollywood at the end of the New Year’s Eve countdown. Working her graveyard shift, LAPD detective Renée Ballard waits out the traditional rain of lead as hundreds of revelers shoot their guns into the air. Only minutes after midnight, Ballard is called to a scene where a hardworking auto shop owner has been fatally hit by a bullet in the middle of a crowded street party.

Too much Covid; not enough Bosch

Another great story
Revisado: 01-06-22
The Dark Hours is primarily focused on Renee Ballard, but Bosch certainly plays a part. The story and it's twists and turns kept me from wanting to put it down. Of course COVID is a part of the storyline—it takes place in 2021. You can't ignore it. Another great one from Michael Connelly.

Historia
For fans of The Martian, an extraordinary new thriller of the future from number one New York Times - best-selling and Pulitzer Priz - winning author John Sandford and internationally known photo-artist and science fiction aficionado Ctein. The year is 2066. A Caltech intern inadvertently notices an anomaly from a space telescope - something is approaching Saturn, and decelerating. Space objects don’t decelerate. Spaceships do.

Love this!
Revisado: 11-02-15
What made the experience of listening to Saturn Run the most enjoyable?
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this genre since I've loved the Lucas and Virgil series. But I wasn't disappointed. Loved it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to, but could not. I listen to books to and from work and when I walk. Not enough time otherwise.

Historia
Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back. The brassy babe in the powder blue Buick has been given the unpopular task of finding Mo Bedemier, Trenton's most beloved citizen, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, gone no-show for his court appearance. Once again, the entire One for the Money crew is in action, searching for Mo, tripping down a trail littered with dead drug dealers, leading Stephanie to suspect Mo may be in over his head.

Where does Three to Get Deadly rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is a great enjoyable, fun read. I like the change from gore and dark to mysterious and intrigue with a quirky sense of humor.
Have you listened to any of C. J. Critt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I listened to the first three books of the Stephanie Plum series narrated by C.J. Critt and I liked them all.

Historia
The four dead guards didn’t concern Mitch Rapp as much as the absence of the man they’d been paid to protect. Joe Rickman wasn’t just another foot soldier. For the last eight years Rickman had ran the CIA’s clandestine operations in Afghanistan. It was a murky job that involved working with virtually every disreputable figure in the Islamic Republic. More than a quarter billion dollars in cash had passed through Rickman’s hands during his tenure as the master of black ops and no one with a shred of sense wanted to know the details of how that money had been spent.
