Great Read
Revisado: 06-11-13
If you could sum up Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Janus Reprisal in three words, what would they be?
Exciting, realistic and great characters
What did you like best about this story?
The plot line was good and the characters interesting yet consistent with prior characters. You really care about John Smith and I wish Peter Howard would have had a bigger role. Will we see Noland again--I hope so
What about Jeff Woodman’s performance did you like?
The reader was excellent--and the expressions good.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
From the headlines of today
Any additional comments?
I hope Jamie writes more. He is the best Covert One author since Gayle Lunds

Historia
An earthquake in Masada, Israel, kills hundreds and reveals a tomb buried in the heart of the mountain. A trio of investigators - Sergeant Jordan Stone, a military forensic expert; Father Rhun Korza, a Vatican priest; and Dr. Erin Granger, a brilliant but disillusioned archaeologist - are sent to explore the macabre discovery, a subterranean temple holding the crucified body of a mummified girl. But a brutal attack at the site sets the three on the run, thrusting them into a race to recover what was once preserved in the tomb's sarcophagus: a book rumored to have been written by Christ's own hand....

The worst Rollins I have heard
Revisado: 05-06-13
What disappointed you about The Blood Gospel?
The story was convoluted in the extreme and many unrealistic characters. Not sure if the audience was intended to be the Twilight Crowd. The reader seemed to be trying to imitate an Eastern European accent
Would you ever listen to anything by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell again?
I have listened to many of James Rollins previous stories (Sigma Series) and enjoyed. Will listen to him again but not this new series

Historia
Will Robie may have just made the first - and last - mistake of his career.... It begins with a hit gone wrong. Robie is dispatched to eliminate a target unusually close to home in Washington, D.C. But something about this mission doesn't seem right to Robie, and he does the unthinkable: He refuses to kill. Now, Robie becomes a target himself and must escape from his own people.
Fleeing the scene, Robie crosses paths with a wayward teenage girl, a 14-year-old runaway from a foster home. But she isn't an ordinary runaway....

disappointing
Revisado: 08-28-12
Would you try another book from David Baldacci and/or Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ?
I continue to read Baldacci, but this one was a little to unrealistic and seemed to follow a formula
Do you think The Innocent: A Novel needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Not really as the young girl was of little interest. Work on Maxwell/King series pls
