Historia
David escapes from the concentration camp where he has spent his entire life and flees across Europe. He is utterly alone – who can he trust? What will await him? And all the while, how can he be sure that they won’t catch up with him...David learns that his polite manner, his haunted eyes and his thin features are strange to other people. He must learn to fend for himself in this strange new world. This is The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas meets Jonathan Safran Foer for children.

Discover a fresh perspective on the art of leading in Dr. Kevin Leman's story about a young reporter who lands the meeting of a lifetime and walks away with the keys to exceptional leadership. The Way of the Shepherd points you beyond dated trends and out-of-touch management techniques to the strategies that will make you a truly outstanding leader. When William Pentak had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interview Ted McBride, one of the most respected CEOs in America, he was shocked by what McBride was willing to share.

Not just for buisness, families, and other groups can benefit from this too.
Revisado: 01-08-20
Not surprisingly, this book uses the same principles of care as David wrote in the 23rd Psalm. The principles that are espoused inside this book can be applied to groups both in business and outside both of friends and co-workers but also in families. It would be a shame if parents and fathers in particular did not read, and understand the principles that are written about here and apply them to the way that they look after those who they have responsibility for namely, their partners and their children. This book would work exceptionally well alongside W Philip Keller’s book ‘A Shepherd looks at Psalm 23.

The brand new BBC Radio 4 full-cast series based on And Another Thing… the sixth book in the famous Hitchhiker’s Guide 'trilogy'. Forty years on from the first ever radio series of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Arthur Dent and friends return in six brand new episodes, in which they are thrown back into the Whole General Mish Mash in a rattling adventure involving Viking Gods and Irish Confidence Tricksters, with our first glimpse of Eccentrica Gallumbits and a brief but memorable moment with The Ravenous Bugblatter Beast Of Traal.

Something that should never have been done. Stick with the trilogy, in five parts.
Revisado: 08-29-19
To think that anyone could continue this without it being glaringly obviously a gargantuan suckfest is evidence of their, whomever they may be’s, enormous ego.
1. The new voice of the narrator, wether by design or accident sounds like a badly conceived Siri/Alexa clone. It literally in parts sounds like individual words have been pasted together to form a sentence. The previous voices have had presence and personality, traits we have become familiar with. This new approach is jarring to say the least, and enough at most to make the listener realise that purchasing the book even to satisfy their curiosity is a mistake of galactic proportions.
2. The story is at best a badly conceived rehash of all the other stories, put through a blender, in the hope that what comes out the other end resembles the quality of the ingredients put into the mix in the first place. It doesn’t.
3. The constant references to old material feel forced, and only there to support the week structure of thee narrative and to convince us that this belongs in the canon. It definitely does not.
4. The only thing that is good about this is that the original actors, and the pre-existing fragments from the previous stories serve as a tragic reminder of what we have enjoyed from our past and sadly lost for our future.
I said this when the book was announced, when it was published, and I reiterate the sentiment now....
No, just no.

Don’t be put off by the math and science! A wonderfully valuable read for anyone studying.
Revisado: 04-24-19
I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, and I am looking forward to listening to this book again, but not right now, in order for it to embed the knowledge within in my warehouse memory. Given that the title includes the words maths and science, there is surprisingly little about the specifics of maths and science inside this book, however it is literally packed to the edges with valuable insights on how the mind works, and more specifically memory, and how to store and retrieve the information we choose to store there, and how to make our brains work for us even when we’re not trying! It is a rich storehouse of tips and techniques on how to improve your learning and your memory.

Historia
The gripping saga of the plane that carried Britain through the Second World War. In June 1940, the German army had brought the rest of Europe to its knees. 'Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world will move forward into broad, sunlit uplands,' said Churchill. The future of Europe depended on Britain.

K5404, 5404? Narrator can you read????
Revisado: 10-10-18
An amazing book, well read, with just one niggle. As admittedly an everlasting fan of the spitfire since I was 10 it grates that the narrator has consistently mis-read the number for the prototype! It’s K5054.

What happened at the end?!!!
Revisado: 06-22-17
This book really didn't seem to go anywhere, especially as it appeared to be a 'road movie' type of story. I love Robert Heinlein but this one just went off on to many tangential paths towards the end. The book ended and I was left with a sense of what just happened, what was the last quarter of the book about, and why name the book after the cat?!!
