This is a bunch of woke Shite! Seriously, you couldn't think of a better way to do time travel and romance without horrible people who hate everyone? Your heroine thinks all men are terrible and any communication is dangerous! "I'll talk to you tomorrow" is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to her?" What message are you trying to push?" Disgusting!

1984 is one of my favorite love stories during a dark period of a projected future. It could have been an amazing story through Julia's eyes. Instead, her whole attitude toward Winston is insulting and condescending. Woke, feminism garbage. Women can be tough and more clever without insulting and condescending everyone around them as stupid. The narrator was doing a great job before the story got so ridiculous I decided not to finish it!

I love the introduction of Lilly Rowan

I have been a long time fan of the old time radio shows of Nero Wolfe. I'm also a big fan of the tv version with Timothy Hutton. Recently I went in search of the books and first found the author that continued what Rex Stout began. I love the banter between Archie and Nero in Stout's stories better. With that said, this is my least favorite except for the introduction of Lilly Rowan. I love knowing how they met. I highly recommend Nero Wolfe if your are a fan of mystery and witty banter between friends.

I listened to the second story first then found this one. I thought maybe I might have missed some background so I came back to this one. I'm totally disappointed! If I would have listened to this one first I would never have finished this series. Elite is a great book. I'm a Christian so I didn't appreciate her ridiculous opinion about who Christians are and what the Bible says about marriage and what a woman's role is in the world. I like some of her other work but feel like after this I probably won't buy anymore of her books. I always find it ironic that in a time of tolerance and women's power that if you choose to be a Christian wife and stay at home mom you deserve condemnation.

I'm usually more of a fantasy reader and not really a sci-fi fan. I followed Michael Sullivan to this genre. Usually science fiction is either to boring for me to get very far into or too unbelievable. This book is more about great and complex relationships than about science fiction. I absolutely love Pax AND Ellis! They are so easy to fall in love with and I would love to have Pax for a friend.

I appreciate the spin on traditional fairy tales. I appreciate the author's decision to keep it young kid friendly and yet daring enough to keep an adult interested also. I would recommend this book to a friend.
