Well done podcast
Revisado: 12-30-22
I enjoy this podcast-especially given that we hear the stories from the point of view of a former police officer. I think it gives a unique perspective. He’s also easy to listen to and speaks clearly. I do wish the opening portion wasn’t quite so long, but it’s no big deal.

"Some good, some eye-roll worthy"
Revisado: 02-15-22
Some parts of the story were interesting and had believable characters. But this author really, really needed to do a little research and understand what he was writing about before publishing. First of all, Luca is supposed to be eight? Eight? No eight year old uses that language or talks the way the narrator portrayed him. His language and behavior made him sound more like a four year old. Completely not believable.
Boricio … well realistically there are serial killers in the world, he was not portrayed at all like a believable human being. And what’s with the “somewhere in Alabama, “descriptions every time they started with his story? Every other place mentioned also mentioned a particular city or town and its state. Guess what guys? Coastal Alabama has cities and towns as well, but once they crossed from Pensacola, FL, it was just, “somewhere in Alabama.” 🙄
The other stories are interesting and I’ll continue, but I may fast forward past Luca and Boricio.

Historia
Artemus Black doesn't believe in fate...but even a hardened Hollywood PI can question destiny when cases turn ugly. With an assistant who mocks him relentlessly, an obese cat that loathes him, a romantic life that's deader than Elvis, money problems, booze, nicotine, and anger management issues, how much worse can it get? The answer is plenty, and Black finds himself in a web of deceit, betrayal, and murder - and bad hair days.

A fun listen!
Revisado: 10-30-21
I ordered this book because it was narrated by RC Bray and it did not disappoint. At times intense, at times funny and all perfectly delivered.
The stories were well written and the bad guy was never obvious till the very end. Just an overall fun series!
