Better than the first!
Revisado: 02-08-23
I enjoyed this second book of the series so much more than the first. I liked many of the elements of the first book, but hadn't felt quite satisfied with it- and almost didn't try the next book in the series! I'm so glad I did. I loved this story and it's ending.

Historia
Multi-award-winning Hannah Gadsby broke comedy with their show Nanette. Now they take us through the defining moments in their life and their powerful decision to tell the truth—no matter the cost. Harrowing and hilarious, Ten Steps to Nanette traces Gadsby’s growth as a queer person, to their ever-evolving relationship with comedy, and their struggle with late-in-life diagnoses of autism and ADHD, finally arriving at the backbone of Nanette: the renouncement of self-deprecation, the rejection of misogyny, and the moral significance of truth-telling.

Thank you Hannah
Revisado: 04-24-22
Dear Hannah, Thank you for processing, crafting, and sharing these stories of yours. I am so grateful. Thank you for narrating the audiobook as well: I love audiobooks and was excited about the release of your memoir, but was anxious that the narrator might have an irritating voice: They did not! And even better, it was you!
To potential readers, This book is full of sadness, hope, honesty, trauma, analysis of social and political horrors, and humour.
I am so grateful for this memoir situation, this woven artwork. Thank you Hannah!

Disappointing
Revisado: 12-24-19
The audio was difficult to hear at times with all the noise and different characters talking. There wasn't much of a story line. This was not the light holiday cheer I anticipated! More an average plot, average production, with lots of stereotypes, little surprise and little enjoyment.
