This is an ode on Americanism

Lots of detail descriptions on sizes of bullets and technical jargon about various weapons. Also, lots of praise on how great America is and how great American heroes are. Probably a good story if you are an American truck driver on long distances. I grew up in Europe, so this all causes me Eye rolling.

Lack of story

I am one hour and 15 minutes into this story and almost everything was about rescue operations and medical procedures listed carefully. I have yet to hear the story.

not believable

The story concept is taken from Steve Berry - History - religious - treasure hunter - adventure. However, the story line refers often to the the "big" catastrophes in world history. Unfortunately, the author considers the big events the world only what happened within the united states within the last 100 years and ignores anything else while weaving this into his book. This leaves me shaking my head because of the lack of knowledge of general world history and ignorance toward most countries except USA and Israel. I'm sorry to say that even though it it fiction, it is still not believable.

a weird story

This story is a combination of a Disney fairy tale with a thriller. I found myself shaking my head thru-out the story. Just when I was getting into the story, there was a turn of events that seems so unbelievable, even for a fiction book, that I kept loosing interest.

Cheap romance novel

After about 2 hours in it changes from ghost story to cheap romance . All the author describes is, how an older lady who doesn’t “get” it anymore feels when she starts kissing again.

A poor collection of tips found on the net

Author tip 1: tell your client the product/service cost much more than it actually does. Double or triple the real price. Then let the client negotiate you down and hopefully you still get more for it than it’s worth.
Reality: if you overcharge too much, the client will walk away in disgust never to return. And ruin your reputation.

Author tip 2: start negotiations with a really low price and the whine your way to higher costs by telling them how much your living costs are or how well you performed previously.
Reality: everyone hates whiners and will walk away from you.

It's a collection of incidents that happened and what politicians said about it. Mostly focused on statements people made and how unprepared the industry is. The only good part is toward the end of the book where he explains how people who are prepared do it. The best part is explained in 4 words: self-reliance, civic-cooperation.
