Historia
Mo Collins, the reluctant hero, has sailed around the country on board the replica pirate ship, the Viva Ancora, and now he finds himself only miles from his childhood home. But now the world has gone to hell. Hordes of naked, blue, biting zombies have flooded the now dead Alabama lake town. Mo and his only surviving shipmate, Crow, spend their days fishing and their nights watching the monsters roam, seeking untainted flesh and leaving a disgusting mess in their wake.

It’s only so long you can listen to Gomer Pile
Revisado: 11-02-22
I gave this book a valiant effort. It was hard to follow because I started tuning the annoying voice out. It was me and not you. Until… the N** word was used in black voice. That explains the constant disconnect. I haven’t read many books where a characters race is explained in every other chapter. Is this Huckleberry Fin? A literary gem to be explored and read in middle school well pass Critical Race Theory? Must I endure hearing that word and for what reason? Immediately No. Unacceptable, hurtful, and degrading. I want to speak with the manager…. To ask him to stop perpetuating racial divides with vulgar offensive slurs? In my opinion the book started off pretty well. By book two I must depart and I still want a refund.

Buckle your seatbelt you're in for a bumpy ride
Revisado: 10-19-16
Would you listen to Mordacious again? Why?
Yes. I don't usually listen to audiobooks twice. However I would make an exception for Sarah Fleming. The book moves quickly and I'm sure I will pick up on something I may have missed the first time around.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Maria was receptive and nurturing. She was a mother to everyone and that's a strength I admire.
Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels and Therese Plummer ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to Luke Daniels performance but not Theresa. They were good in their own rights but the back and forth between the two was an overkill on getting the characters

The Mistake I Made
Revisado: 02-02-16
Purchasing the audiobook has Benin by far the worst mistake I've made in ages. It's like listening to a horrible episode so Bewitched. Next time, I will not be the first review. Totally inappropriate introduction for the protagonist.

Under Developed
Revisado: 02-02-16
Not only did the narrator speak slowly, it's indicative of the pace of this novel. There is a particular repetitive phrase referring to Caden's military skills kicking in without confidence this character possesses average intelligence. Unbelievable waste of time.

Bad memories in my photogenic mind
Revisado: 01-11-16
This book reminded me of an extended version of Scooby-Doo. I am forever upset that I spent so much time with any expectations. The plot is predictable; the protagonist is dense, conflicted, repetitive, and an unbelievable, unlikely character. The book wraps up with sloppy explanations for every scenario that would not slide in even the best fantasy-scifi genre. Save your credit, save time in your life, that no refund can restore.

Historia
Nobody knew where it came from. Nobody knew why it came. When an eight-foot-tall man made of stone appears in the middle of a busy city center one July afternoon, two-bit (and antisocial) reporter Andy Pointer assumes it's just a publicity stunt. Indeed, so does everyone else...until the Stone Man begins to walk, heading silently through the wall of the nearest building, flattening it, and killing several people inside as a result.

What overwhelming confidence to publish your own work. The story was fascinating. However, it took me longer than usual to finish this book. I will be following the author for more stories that are so far, uniquely ingenious and unimaginable. Great Job.

Historia
The end of the world? That's the stuff of Hollywood blockbusters and deep philosophical exercises in school. No need to sweat it. So when 16-year-old Tess's doomsday-dad builds a bomb shelter in their suburban backyard, everyone thinks he's gone crazy.... Until fire rains down from the sky, sinking whole cities into colossal craters and setting much of the world ablaze.

Question any Question Marks in ones Title
Revisado: 11-07-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Anyone? to be better than the print version?
Yes. The narrator gave the book depth with her performance. Phillips personality suggested there was some hidden mystery to this well written novel.
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed the absence of zombies yet the implication of their existence and plausible arrival.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It really took a couple of hours for the book to develop. Once I became interested in the outcome I could not put it down.
