Historia
Two decades before the Lindbergh baby became America’s most famous missing child, four-year-old Bobby Dunbar, went missing in Opelousas, Louisiana, setting in motion one of the strangest kidnapping stories in the nation’s history. In the summer of 1912, the Dunbar family took a trip to Swayze Lake in St. Landry Parish, where Bobby wandered off and disappeared. The boy’s disappearance was followed by an eight-month search across the American south, until Bobby was ostensibly found in the company of William Walters, a handyman traveling through the Mississippi. You've caught up with us in 2025!
Revisado: 02-14-25
As I've listened to your delayed shows, hearing you both say 2025 was going to be great- I kept thinking to myself, ohhhh they don't know yet how bad it actually is. Today's show was different. You now obviously know what we've been facing. Not that I'm "happy " you've caught up with us, but I am kind of relieved you've caught up with us. 2025 is a very dark and scary place and we need our Morbid gals with us!

Shockingly self absorbed and shallow
Revisado: 01-28-25
If you want to listen to a next level, self absorbed, white girl put all her privilege on display then this is absolutely the podcast for you. If listening to an entitled brat tends to put you off - move along. I never write reviews, but this was too off putting to ignore.

Historia
It was just a random mutation - one of a billion that happen in viruses every day. But this one was different. It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Rita Golden Gelman is my hero!
Revisado: 02-12-21
I almost returned this book during the first chapter because I thought it was going to be a tale told from a “Karen’s” perspective. Ms Golden Gelman is anything and everything but a Karen and her book spoke to my heart and spirit. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Save yourself the agony
Revisado: 01-09-21
Mix together two characters that are impossible to like and then add in the angst of not being able to stomp on nor burn your Audible version when you finish it. Seriously. I finished it on a Friday morning before I left for work and I kept wondering to myself why I felt so cranky. ??? I then realized it was the HORRIBLE ending of the dang book. BOOM. Save yourself the frustration and save your credit.
