I love the first book- mystery, magic, character development, compelling storyline…. Unfortunately, those are all missing from book two. I do not recommend it.

I love this series & the characters so much, and this is my favorite so far!! The audio performance of each character is absolutely superb. The story is engaging, funny, sweet, imaginative, and original. I don’t want it to end….. I’m so grateful for stories like this especially when there is so much nothing of substance to watch on the ‘boob tube’ 😊😘💯🏆

If you’re a H.S. Thompson fan this is a fun, easy, & interesting story not to be skipped. Set in Hawaii with classic, unhinged Thompson characters, & unexpected history about the state seamlessly woven into the narrative, along with the sharp cultural & political commentary H.S.T is so brilliant at. Great & entertaining summer vacation listen.

Another Great Tech Adventure by DS

I loved this audiobook- interesting, creative, well-paced, relevant, and fun. I definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a technology-based adventure story with engaging characters and a enjoyable plot line that translates seamlessly to audio. Daniel Suarez has quickly become one of my favorite storytellers.

Absolutely love this space odyssey sci-fi novel!

Reminds me of the Michael Crichton adventure novels I love so much. The story is enhanced by the science, the multi national characters are wove their way into my heart, the twists and turns are great fun and moving. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves realistic adventure science fiction. And I hope Mr. Suarez is working on the sequel- I don’t want to say goodbye to these great characters yet!
