Thank you iCertify this is a perfect listen for my drive to work. The commentators have a clear speaking voice. The audiobook seems to be of reasonable value in a cost vs. value evaluation.

Historia
His blind fury is infamous, his strength without rival, but the legend of the man known as the Butcher of Khardov was forged in a crucible of pain.... The legacy of the massacre near Boarsgate at the hand of the warcaster Orsus Zoktavir has followed him his whole life - but it is another memory that fuels both his rage and his will to live. Before he was one of Khador’s most potent weapons he was simply a young man striving to make a life for himself, and for his beloved, free of the violence that came so easily to him.

Overly convoluted by design
Revisado: 03-21-20
This story is interesting, the charachters are decently developed and the voice performance is excelent. That being said the author chops the story up into multiple scenes and then mixes up the story line for what reason other than to be confusing i wouldnt know. Then he ends the book with a non sequitur. thus i give it 2 stars overall.

Historia
In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

I realy like this but i dont know why.
Revisado: 01-13-19
this book reads(listens) like a cross between anime and an rpg video game. Its a lot of fun to listen to but not for the easily offended although I didn't realy object to any of it.

Historia
France, August 1944. In this alternate history WW2 adventure, American and British forces struggle to trap and destroy the still-potent German armies defending Normandy. But the Allies face another formidable obstacle of their own making: a seething rivalry between generals leads to a high-level disregard for orders that puts the campaign in the Falaise Pocket at risk of devastating failure - or spectacular success.

It Drew Me In
Revisado: 12-06-18
The moment I started this book I loved it. I am heavily biased toward military fiction but I think even if you are not you will enjoy this action packed book. I strongly Identified with the characters and I thought the author did an excellent job with the attitudes and behaviors of the protagonists. A note about the voice acting I thought the actor did an excellent job using accents for each character. I was never confused about who was speaking I cant praise it enough, the voice acting enhanced the quality of this audio book a great deal.

A good voice actor does a lot for a story.
Revisado: 10-09-18
The writing is good however the chrachters are fairly two demensional with respect to the villans and the aliens. The story was a bit slow in places but the ending picked up quite a bit. I liked the story for the most part and look forward to this authors future endeavors.

The story was OK but...
Revisado: 07-21-17
The story was ok but if your a fan of Jon Ringo or David Weber this is not at their level of military Scifi. The book did have interesting fights, detailed deaths and, decent charachters. The military/scifi side did not read well in the details of behaviors or auctions. The charachters are set in the future and dont seem to understand and use military hardware any better than an anime charachter would. Their reactions seemed over the top and a bit more foolish than belivable. It does have potential though so i will probably purchase the next one to see if the author improves his style.

Historia
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways and abandoned rooms. A young woman lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten place. Her name is Auri, and she is full of mysteries. The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Auri’s life, a small adventure all her own. At once joyous and haunting, this story offers a chance to see the world through Auri’s eyes.

Lets begin at the middle.
Revisado: 07-13-17
I enjoyed this book, however, If I hadnt read the series first it might have been harder to get into but not impossible. I think the audio version is quite good and easy to follow but the print version would alow you to savor the prose. The book doesent do a lot of explaing things around the story and its set in the middle and to the side of the series. The author explains and talks about his process of publishing it and why its not a real story. I wanted him to not apologize, explain or argue for the story. I wanted him to give us the story drop the mic and walk away. But no that is not the way the world works and l know wanting is a wicked thing. so no, the middle is best small and to the side off the beaten path, even a bit twisty in the end.

Historia
Team Yankee, the New York Times best-seller by Harold Coyle, presents a glimpse of what it would have been like for the soldiers who would have had to meet the relentless onslaught of Soviet and Warsaw Pact divisions. Using the geo-political and military scenarios described by General Sir John Hackett, former NORTHAG commander and author of World War Three; August 1985, Team Yankee follows the war as seen from the turret of Captain Sean Bannon's tank.

One of the best book on armored warfare
Revisado: 01-25-17
This book is one of my favorite books. it is full of action and military jargon about equipment and weapons but the author nakes it an easy read and explains it all in contextual examples and descriptions of the action. The book has a fair amount of interesting social interaction and a part of the book follows the commander's wife as she tries to seek refuge for the dependants of Team Yankee. It is a fast paced book and well written even if your not a military fiction fan you just might like this book.

Revisado: 01-09-17
This book accelerates to a climactic ending. It is well written and easy to follow. it doesent have an excesive amount of pseudo tech jargon or, to much introspective existential monologues. I highly recommend it if you like "starship troopers" or the "Honor Hearington" series.
