What made the experience of listening to Roseannearchy the most enjoyable?

I grew up watching Roseanne, and I think she is a wonderful, strong woman who did the best she could with what she had. I love her, and I loved every minute of this book.

What does Roseanne Barr bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

To hear it all in her own voice was just perfect!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I think I felt lost during most of this book. After listening to it all, I think that it is compiled of a lot of lost loves in books that I may not have read. I remember some of the stories that were related to some of the characters but others - I was totally lost on who they were, how they knew each other and their back story. If you are a Jennifer Weiner buff and have read/listened to all of her books, you may really enjoy this book!

Did Mary Catherine Garrison, and Jordan Bridges do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I think they characters were all well played and separate, however I just felt lost during some stories because I had no idea who they were or any back story.

As soon as I heard about the Twilight Saga from a friend, and HAD to get the audio books. I got the first two from a friend (although I'm not sure where she acquired them) but I bought this book here, and it was the most wonderful book yet. Every book in this series has been extremely addictive, and I just about constantly listened to them (except they wouldn't let me listen to them while I was at work =( ) I am waiting excitedly for the MOVIE that comes out in theaters 11/21/2008 and there is a sequel currently in the works -- so I'll be watching for it!

I recommend this book to EVERYONE as it is a great story for all ages, boys, girls, young and old. I also feel that everyone should start with the first book if possible, but each book does give enough background as it goes to be able to understand what is going on if read seperately.

Hilarious!

This book wasn't quite what I thought it would be, but it was a fun and funny book that takes a look at how things seem to be true (at least was with my pets even!) It's a short and sweet story that had me laughing out loud (quite a funny thing seeing as how I only listened to it on my mp3 player -- so spontaneous bursts of laughter were amusing and confusing to everyone else) and was definitely a good buy. I've listened to it a few times all the way through and recommend this book, read by Stephen King himself (who does a wonderful job narrating with his Maine accent)
