Historia
Here is Trump in action—how he runs his organization and how he runs his life—as he meets the people he needs to meet, chats with family and friends, clashes with enemies, and challenges conventional thinking. But even a maverick plays by rules, and Trump has formulated time-tested guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker's art. And throughout, Trump talks—really talks—about how he does it.

Donald Trump then sounds like President Trump now. He is at least consistent. Well worth the time to read, learn, and understand.

Historia
With his characteristic eyebrow-raising behavior, Richard P. Feynman once provoked the wife of a Princeton dean to remark, "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!" But the many scientific and personal achievements of this Nobel Prize-winning physicist are no laughing matter. Here, woven with his scintillating views on modern science, Feynman relates the defining moments of his accomplished life.

Narrator brings this book to life and kind of sounds like Feynman. This book much better than I expected. Entertaining, funny, informative.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Excellent read and I learned a lot
Revisado: 07-08-15
Lots of detail and science support an exciting survival story on Mars. Yet the details are cleverly wrapped in funny, interesting dialog and not at all tedious. The narrator does an overall excellent job with voices and emotion.
The story's ending got a bit silly and over dramatic which is a common way to wrap things up I guess.
Loved the book and so glad I read it before seeing the movie. Interestingly, this time, the movie debut led me to the book.

Revisado: 05-05-15
Seems like common to me sense now. Best for someone starting out on their travels who can learn to take it easy. Most of what this book covers I had to learn through my own time and errors. Wish I could have read the book much sooner. But no worries there's still a lot to explore.

Gripping techno goodness and serious ideas.
Revisado: 03-27-10
Thank you Leo for the recommendation! This book is fantastic. Within all the fast pace action and techno goodness there are some fairly deep philosophical questions regarding our place in an era of high technology and whether or not the current political systems (Democracy, Corporatism, Fascism) can sustain society in such a future.
Daemon wraps a killer storyline around these questions and keep you entertained throughout with not a dull moment.
Well now, I'm off to get the next book Freedom (TM).

This is H.G. Wells at his best, delving into fantastic and strange worlds. The Time Machine, perhaps Wells' best known work, tells the story of the first time traveler. In the distant future the human race has evolved into two beings: the gentle Eloi and their dreaded cousins, the Morlocks, masters of the underworld.
