Surprising lack of dialogue
Revisado: 04-21-22
Interesting plot, though dated. The lack of dialogue made me think the narrator was reading a history book or documentary rather than a novel.

Everything you could want for a Mitch Rapp story
Revisado: 10-13-15
Congratulations to Kyle Mills.. he didn't disappoint. George Guidall, of course, was an impeccable story teller.

Historia
Seth Hubbard is a wealthy man dying of lung cancer. He trusts no one. Before he hangs himself from a sycamore tree, Hubbard leaves a new, handwritten, will. It is an act that drags his adult children, his Black maid, and Jake into a conflict as riveting and dramatic as the murder trial that made Brigance one of Ford County's most notorious citizens, just three years earlier. The second will raises far more questions than it answers. Why would Hubbard leave nearly all of his fortune to his maid? Had chemotherapy and painkillers affected his ability to think clearly?

The Grisham we all loved from the 90's!

Like a family reunion
Revisado: 11-02-13
I loved revisiting the characters in this book. It's classic Grisham, has plenty of humor to offset more serious matter, and Michael Beck is the perfect narrator.

Historia
With U.S. intelligence agencies wracked by internal power struggles and paralyzed by bureaucracy, the President was forced to establish his own clandestine group-Covert-One. It is only activated as a last resort, when the threat is on a global scale and time is running out. In northern Uganda, an American special forces team is decimated by a group of normally peaceful farmers. Video of the attack shows even women and children possessing almost supernatural speed and strength, consumed with a rage that makes them immune to pain, fear, and all but the most devastating injuries.

Need different narrator
Revisado: 11-10-11
I would like Jeff Woodman's narration for a different book, however, I could not love these characters the say way that I did with Paul Michael's narration in the previous books. It's almost like watching a movie dubbed from a different language! Bring back the Jon, Peter and Marty we know and love.
