Robin McKinley returns to the mythical setting of The Hero and the Crown and The Blue Sword in this “thrilling, satisfying, and thought-provoking collection” featuring two stories set in the world of Damar, plus three other fantasy tales featuring adventurous, pragmatic, and heroic young women (Publishers Weekly).

Super well read. Majority of stories are delightful and original. Loved the ties back to Damar.

I was mildly disappointed in the ending of final story. It had so much amazing build up, but then it just petered out. In contrast to the other stories, it left me disappointed Matthew end of a good collection.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

childhood revelry and character celebrations
Revisado: 07-18-20
The premise of the novel is becoming all too true of how our society is operating. The message of hope, love and investment in real time relationships and real world solutions is the undertone for this fantastic cyber adventure. the characters are well developed and a joy to walk alongside as they fumble. grow and triumph. Wil Wheaton's reading performance is excellent. each character has her/his own tone and the inflection and pauses he uses to increase the suspense of the over all story are superb. I particularly enjoy the slight surprise intinging Wil's voice when he, himself, makes a brief appearance in the writing. it is obvious he wasn't expecting it.

Revisado: 01-03-17
The guy who reads it makes a decent story come to lifein a captivating way. If ypu like cyborg, apocoplitic, philsophical science fiction, listen to this - its entertaining.
