King Liam is Dying and his son Pi is cursed by his mother's, Queen Oleander. wicked brother Red Star. Queen Oleander sends many troops to capture her brother but none return finally she sends Torsten Unger, her head knight, to find him along with the greatest thief to capture her brother and a doll he stole from her son. The quest is fraught with many strange creatures and a few wizards. The ending of this story is like a cliff hangar waiting for the sequel.

A good look into artificial insemination

Paige Robinson, a geneticist, uses artificial insemination to conceive her son miles, years later she is in a serious relation
with Liam and her son fails to bond with him. The friendships that she makes lead to some revealing situations while she tries to help her son to cope with not knowing his real father. It was well written and explains a lot about what biologically bonds fathers to their children.

Well written story of a strong woman

Elizabeth is thrust into a life that she is not really ready for and has to learn from someone she doesn't trust. She is forced to keep fleeing from someone she fears because he is obsessed with her and destroys any relation she develops. In the end she finally finds someone willing to help her and finally wins. I thought it was well written and well read.
