I wanted to like this

The two main characters are awful, self rightious, humorless do gooders. The author states the obvious and explains every emotion and situation rather than letting the characters do it through development. it had so much potential to be an amusing cozy mystery but instead it's just filled with priggish stereotypes

I really like this narrator

I've listen to her other books and enjoyed them but this one just seemed the same story one more time. It was just disjointed and hard to figure out why anybody was doing anything well at the same time telling about the same story as she told in the earlier wistoria society group of books -a rogue, a prim but smart woman, others who may or may not be allies and they're thrown together in a crazy adventure.

The protagonist is annoyingly dense

Light and fun

I couldn't listen to this narrator long enough to get a feel for the story. The breathless whiny protagonist voice was grating.

I thoroughly enjoyed this rendition of the Holmes world. There are several more books that don't seem to be yet turned into audible downloads. I hope they get the rest of the series on audible

Boring

This was extremely tedious and boring. Not clever and witty just tedious and boring. It's like they were getting paid by the word

The story line has promise and we got the next (or first) one in the series. It is always good to see girls as competent protagonists. The narrator was painful.

The narrator sounds like a computer bot and the story is longwinded and not all that interesting. Very unlike any Mycroft and Sherlock descriptions in other books. Mycroft is very annoying as a character and no one is very likeable or sympathetic at all
