I think this is the best yet. you will never in a million years figure out who shot Tad Ludington and try to pin it on Avery. Shes as sparky as ever and then Elliott shocks her. Gotta listen to this one.

Where does Too Hard to Handle rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Definitely ranks in my top 10. The narrator did a great job and the emotions of the books were portrayed perfectly. Loved the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how the story kept going and the action was there every step of the way. Awesome story. The biggest of surprises was left to the end of the story.

Which scene was your favorite?

The lavatory scene was hilarious. They kept beating themselves up. And for those of us that have been in those lavatories knows just how small the space really is. I also liked the last scene where Peni decides to marry Dan.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh definitely. I listen as I go to and from work daily and I was late a couple of days going into work. I'm not sure they understood that a good book that couldn't be put down was a viable condition for being late.

Any additional comments?

This is an awesome story that i can listen to again, and again. Great author, great story, and awesome narrator.

Where does Paranormal Romance: Alpha Bear in the Backwoods rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a really good audiobook. It's told from the female perspective with a female voice. She does a good job with the story. As far as other audiobooks, I have listened to quite a few and I seem to prefer the male voices and inflections. The one thing about this reader, is that she flows really well and knows how to keep the story going with the inflections in the right places

What did you like best about this story?

I liked this story because Poppy tries to be polite while sharing Thomas's cabin. He has been alone for awhile so conversations are a little slow. But Poppy soon warms Thomas's heart and he comes to life.

Which scene was your favorite?

Believe it or not, the scene when she gets popped by burning bark seems to stick with me. I thought that Thomas should have wanted to see it to ensure she wasn't hurt.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions, but I did smile as Thomas started coming out of his shell and seeing Poppy as the possible woman of his dreams

Any additional comments?

I thought the story ended rather abruptly. It was like they found each other and that's all there was. The transition to the end could have been smoother.

Where does The Cowbear's Christmas Shotgun Wedding rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is definitely one of the best of my audiobooks. It has a bit of everything (i.e., Love, romance, a bad guy, some action).

What did you like best about this story?

I like how when they decided to get married how the whole family pulled together and got in done in one day instead of a number of months. The truth about her father comes out and erases the hurts of the past. Not all of them but allows the healing to begin.

What does Beth Roeg bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings the characters to life. She has a great voice and does a great job of acting out the characters. She isn't choppy or short in her readings which make for a smoother story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment she finds out about how her father really felt about her, she realized that she was really loved. It allowed her to release the pent up anger and hurt. The fact that Logan was there to help her the entire way and helped her understand what was going on with her father.

Any additional comments?

While listening to the story, you hear all the anger and pent up frustrations from the past come to the front and she confronts Logan on his behavior as well. She doesn't hold anything back but finds that Logan has changed over the years and whether it was growing up or his stent in the military, he has become a man that she can be proud of. Plus, he always there to protect her. Awesome story and I would like to read/hear more. You will be glad that you purchased this audiobook. It's always a joy to make the drive easier with an audiobook.

Would you listen to The Preditorial Page: Avery Shaw Mystery Book 5 again? Why?

I just couldn't get enough of this audiobook. Avery just can't keep from getting into trouble. Now we have a serial killer that likes blondes with blue eyes and Jake and her boyfriend are trying to keep her alive but almost gets Jake killed in the process. If only she would take orders that were good for her. You will love this. It's always fun to listen to the story and actually have people portray the characters. But even with a killer Avery is just as sarcastic as ever. You'll love it. Audio books gives you the opportunity to listen to it over and over.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. You never knew what was going to happen. You just knew that wherever Avery was, the killer was going to be there.

Have you listened to any of Angel Clark’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I honestly don't know. She did a great job. I have a tendency to list to the story and the person portraying the characters but haven't really done a good job at finding who the portrayer is.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I actually laughed listening to Avery. I wouldn't say it was an extreme reaction but I did almost cry when Jake thought he was dying.

Any additional comments?

All of Amanda Lee's books are awesome. Whether it's the witches or Avery. You can't go wrong.
