So many feelings
Revisado: 02-13-23
Reading the book made me fall in love with TJ Klune. Hearing his words performed by Michael Lesley made me feel all the emotions. Everything about this audiobook is beautiful and right.

Snoozefest
Revisado: 01-05-20
This audiobook should be a cautionary tale about why a narrator can make or break a book. I have read the book and it was fantastic. I liked it so much I bought the audiobook which was a huge mistake. The narrator is absolutely terrible. I almost fell asleep while listening to the first chapter. The narrator has zero inflection and didn’t bother to change voices with different characters. The book is 5 stars. The audiobook book is 0 stars all because of the narrator.

Bad narration
Revisado: 07-29-15
What disappointed you about The Morning Gift?
I would love to tell you that I loved this story as I love all Eva Ibbotson's books, but I can't. Because five minutes into the audiobook I hated the narrator. 30 minutes in and I had lost all track of what the story was about because I was so disgusted by the narration. This is not a children's book. Please do not narrate it as such. And ending every other sentence on an upswing? Is just annoying. The voices were terrible and the deal breaker for me. If Patricia Connolly did a version of this I would snatch it up is a heartbeat. As it is I'm happy I didn't pay full price because I had to delete it.
