Same VALUABLE messages with a different DELIVERY

I have listened to many programs very similar to this in the last 30 or so years. While none of the topics were earth shattering or new, I found his delivery to be very honest, straightforward and direct.
I actually suggested this title to my 20 year old son, who had been struggling with a few aspects of his life, pulling the typical parent "I'd like you to read this but I know you won't" line.
As expected, he went out and bought the book... and then STOP DOING THAT SHIT... and then DO THE WORK - each one with post-it tabs riddling pages along the way. Somewhere along the way, he bought me the daily calendar and gave it to me for Christmas as a thank you for pointing him in the right direction - what more could a dad want.
Gary gave him the same messages we've been giving him for years, but delivered it in a way that spoke to him & has made an IMMEASURABLE difference in his direction & life.

As a guy I wasn't too sure about listening to this title. It's clearly written by a woman for a woman (not that there's anything wrong with that) and I wasn't sure how applicable it was going to be for me in regards to my wife. It did a very good job of explaining for me how my wife could be, or would be, feeling or thinking...or not thinking or not feeling or all the places in between. I'm not sure how open my wife would be to reading this book but it has certainly given me some insight and the knowledge of things to watch for in order to be sensitive what she may be feeling - even if she's not aware that, it is in fact, how she's feeling.

What would have made The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex better?
ANYTHING that would have been Amazing in bed. All the points, tips and advice in this book are way below amazing . . . barely Vanilla.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Shocked that there are people that may find this to be informative or in any way educational. Most of this book was fast forward-able and all of it useless.
