Best Spy Novel Ever

I have read dozens and dozens of spy novels! This by far is my favorite book! I just discovered Brad Thor, and now look forward to reading the rest of his materials. The story was captivating —keeping the listener on edge —not able to put it down! A little bit incredulous — Scott does have nine lives and maybe a little bit of Superman! but it made for an excellent excellent book!

Best Spy Novel I have ever read!!

Brilliantly written!! Credible— possible—plausibility a bit stretched but who doesn’t — riveting from the very start..., descriptive narratives makes u feel u are there!! BUT NO ENDING!!! TOTALLY disappointed !! It’s as if the author just quit! Could have been the best of the best spy novels! So very disappointed!

Absolutely Thrilling!!

Joel C Rosenberg is by far one of the best spy thriller novelists I have ever read! His trilogy of the 12th Imam is incredibly well written! The descriptions are so vivid you are watching the story unfold in front of your eyes-- feeling everything the characters are feeling --getting so deep into the story it's like you're hovering above watching it unfold. As everyone knows the reader can make or break a story and this reader rivals the storyline of the book! He brings each character to life with its own voice and accent... and his performance far exceeds that of any reader I have never heard especially in a spy novel. I am absolutely looking forward to reading more books by Joel C Rosenberg!

Alex Berenson is a master story writer!!

Since discovering Alex Berenson and "John Wells" I have read nothing else! His plots are so credible with such in depth details one wonders how does he know the true workings of government, CIA with tradecraft and other covert operative works. Each book builds on the last so start with his first. You will be as hooked as everyone else. The books are so intense and detailed I go back and re read just to ensure I get the full advantage! Hence true 5 stars deserving. I listen to an average of 3 books a week for about 8 years now! By far my vote for excellence!!
George Guidall the reader -I wasn't too crazy about him in the first book but by book 3 he has the characters spring to life! They are real.. more alive than ever!! He knows them now and gives even more suspense to the stories.
Would someone please get Mr. Berenson some coffee?? He has to keep writing!!

Hooked on John Wells

This is my fifth Alex Berenson book in six weeks! The way the plot line is laid just enough backfill is given and enough teasing the reader you won't put it down! I tend to read books starting with the first that came out. Fortunately I just discovered Alex Berenson. However at this rate I will have burned through them all! I liked this one very very much! I would've liked to have had more that was written in the prologue as a wrap up to the novel. But it was a book I could not stop listening to!! I noticed many people praise the reader George Guidall .... IMHO he sounds like the character Ells Schaeffer the majority of the time! He is a good reader but I don't think he does characters as well as they need to be done. He needs to hone his skills on changing his character voices. But to his credit he is a good reader and it would not stop me from listening to any books read by him.

The next Tom Clancy??

"The ghost war" was a well thought out well written novel if you like the type of spy CIA world terror type of plot! I wasn't really crazy about the reader. But after the story started to take on it's own life I was able to put him the reader aside. There were a few loose ends that could've been tied up a bit better but I just drew the conclusion that instead of tying it up it could've drawn it out there for causing one to become bored with the book. It did captivate me enough to find it difficult to put it down! I have now read two in the series and I'm onto the third! I would definitely recommend reading or listening to this book...

New Orleans a fabulous story!!

Have you ever really wondered about the dark mysterious city called New Orleans?? It's history how did it become such a melting pot ?? What about all the corruption ?? Well this extremely well written book tells it all!! From the beginning to the end it will hold you spell bound!! I was sad to see it end!

The reader does an excellent job!! I don't care how good a book can be if the reader is not comfortable and easy to listen to to bring the story to life it's not worth it.

Definitely worth the five star rating!!

It only gets better and better

I could not put this book down. I found myself not even wanting to sleep!! This is got to be one of the best of Tom Clancy's I've read and I've read a lot of him! It was credible believable impossible. Takes a few minutes to get into it but once you do you don't want it out

Reader HORRID!!

What did you love best about Deja Dead?

I was really, really looking forward to listening to the entire collection! However I just could not get beyond the first hour...i tried-i really did! The Reader is worse than awful. She is way too slow, tries too hard to make it exciting. I cant even judge the story because i found my teeth grinding listening to her. Sadly, this is my first and last book read by this Reader. I have even written her name down so i dont purchase any further reads by her.
