I was able to finish this book quickly. It is very actionable and a clear account of the real ways thay educators are unfortunate, but willing examples, of bias in education. It was dense with information and examples

I love his mastery of constitutional law and explanations for a layperson to grasp. I learned so much in my time spent on this book.

The mispronounced words abound

I found myself deciphering the correct word from the definition as MANY words are not pronounced correctly. Words that end in D are pronounced with a hard "t" sound. The emphasis on syllables is "off" on words as well.

After the 3rd chapter I focused on how often the words were not said correctly versus new vocabulary.

There should have been more emphasis on pronouncing words using the widely used/accepted and alternatively as it is in the book.

The book is good but glosses over a salient point - race relations. He takes a clinical look at communication but comes from a biased view that ethno-cultural discrimination does not exist.

This is the first book I completed via Audible. It did not disappoint.

The book dives into the contradiction and racial divide that imbues the US Justice system anything but just. The points and arguments made by Mr. Stevenson leave little room to wonder what the "right" side is..... A wonderful read by a kind, just, brilliant legal mind.
