I couldn't even finish it

I stopped 5 hours short of the end, and that was after trying to push through listening to this while walking the track at the gym (which I usually reserve for riveting titles because who likes walking around in endless circles to get steps in?). I couldn't follow the story line, Reskin starts having personality splits, where in the world did all the other fantasy people suddenly come from, elves, fae, it was like a bad Star Trek episode on LSD.
I loved the first two books, I don't know what happened with this one. I don't even know how it ends because I lost interest, would have to go back and relisten, and then it becomes a chore instead of entertainment. Too bad, I really liked Reskin and wanted to know what happens to Team Dark Tidings.
