Historia
Beyond Trans pushes the conversation on gender identity to its limits: questioning the need for gender categories in the first place. Whether on birth certificates or college admissions applications or on bathroom doors, why do we need to mark people and places with sex categories? Do they serve a real purpose or are these places and forms just mechanisms of exclusion?

Very straightforward argument
Revisado: 06-04-22
The author makes a very straightforward argument with ample case studies that state and institutional recognition of gender is harmful.

Historia
A literary novel which follows present-day narrator Mathilda's fixation with the forgotten black Scottish modernist poet Hermia Drumm. Lote is an exploration of aesthetic, beauty and the ephemeral realm in which they exist. This witty and luxurious tale delves into the opposing mental structures and historical platforms of abnegating Thought Artists, and extravagant aesthete black artists.

An antidote to the international cis-het
Revisado: 06-04-22
The book is about long-forgotten secret societies, weird philosophers, being queer and black in a place that isn't, quiet resistance to the international cis-het, living above your means.
It's esoteric, it's got beautiful prose, it's black, it's queer, it's aesthetic bliss, and the narrators do a wonderful job elevating the text even higher with their brilliant performances.
