Love the series but the narrative was not all it could have been.

I love this series! But the reader just felt (to me) like she was just reading out loud, she gave no soul to the characters. It also sounded like she was either trying to give the main female voice a southern accent or she was trying not to let a southern accent out.

A very nice story.

I (sadly) saw the movie first and had some trouble listening to the story without picturing in my mind what was going to happen next. But aside from that it was a very well put together book.
