omg this story has left me continuously thinking about it since I finished it!
in a post apocalyptic world full of zombies from a unknown deadly viral outbreak, Amy is doing her best to protect her daughter Lyla. every choice, every breath could be their last. what will Amy sacrifice to save her daughter Lyla?
in a word... everything.
this book was absolutely intense and the tears came at the end of this book, my heart literally broke in this book and I highly highly reccomend it!

thrilling suspense with Romance story blooming.

The Guardsman is book 2 in a thrilling series. Though book 1 isn't required to read it, will definitely help you understand the main characters, this book focuses more on Liam.

Liam, whos been presumed dead for over three years (after an explosion at the end of Book on is found by a private investigator. Ali, His sister has never given up on him still being alive. Theresa, who is Joes sister (Alis Husband) brings Liam home to Ali. Theresa is instantly attracted to Liam, however hes quite resistant. Theresa is rich and appears on the surface to be a society princess: everything Liam hates. deep down he cant help but admit hes feeling the attraction even if he wants to deny it. Shes independent and spirited and the banter between them keeps him enthralled.
After coming home to live with his sister and her new husband (joe) but struggles to settle into "home". When Theresa starts becoming more and more "accident prone" and increasing strange events happen Liams heckles raise, and his protection instinct kicks in.

What is going on with Theresa? Will her independent streak crumble to allow Liam to help her? Are these all accidents and coincidences? Will Liam and Theresa get past all the things they think they didn't like or couldn't have and accept one another?

This is a romantic suspense, with the audio reading by the author, which I feel gave it extra flair. I felt the characters' emotions, and the story kept me turning page after page

Thriller with romance

Cassandra is young, but her life has been hard. framed with tragedy she has worked incredibly hard despite her losses to be able to audition and train with her idle Chandler in the Silks as an arielist, but she gets a lot more than she bargains for with Chandler Morrow.
Cassandra and Chandler both have lived their own share of horrific tragedy and trauma and have a lot of baggage, but the chemistry is undeniable between them, and the narration in the book makes it even better. Can these two get out of their own way and move past all the interference from everyone else to be together, or is life planning to destroy them as well. Will the secrets be too much? It appears the circus has a lot more going on than meets the eye!
The ending of this book...oh my! I can't wait until these two finally unravel the secrets they've held from one another because it is going to be .. mmm more explosive than the ending of this book... if that's possible. well done!!

wonderful story. disappointed in ending

great thrilling story of how she handles odrin.ordinary.. but I needed more out of her relationship with keegan I wanted a flash forward of children and what powers they have and how Marco and Brian made out and we just don't get it. I was left wildly disappointed in having none of that after spending so much time with these characters

A terribly young queen with insight far beyond her tender age of 16 years old saves a realm and then is condemned for it.

She perseveres despite some heart lurching goodbyes and she learns not to trust so quickly, except in her own decisions.
She makes one hard decision after another but continues above all else to put the realm and her kingdom before herself. Will she regain trust in herself? Can she erase self doubt? Can she protect a realm that doesnt seem to want her protection? Can she mend her tender young broken heart?
This series is addictive and is a can't miss for Fae lovers. The narration adds so much to this story with inflection and personality to the characters as well.

The ending though....

Dahlia is back... trying to fight the blight before it destroys everything everyone knows. Her trusty sidekick is back along with her 3 lovers which makes an unusual but interesting team dynamic
Cue drama, betrayals and so many secrets!

Finding out if Dahlia can save everyone from the blight, find her own happiness and fight off the collectors and solve Murders will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire story.

The narrator in this book is also great. the characters become engaging due to the different tones of her voice while she reads. Truly enjoyed this!

Wonderful world building

This book was a fantastic read! the author builds you a world with so much fantasy magic intrigue, action, politics, drama and a hard headed lead character you can't help but cheer for, be frustrated with and love despite his flaws.

follow Ian Troy through a world where magic is dangerous and the users of it aren't free, in fact drugged and kept as slaves... but Ian managed to find a way to have some freedom but the secrets around him are deep and you will keep unlayering them the further you go and feel his hurt anger and confusion as he finds out more about himself and his heritage.

I cannot wait for the 2nd book on audible because this reader was the perfect voice for Ian and gave so much more depth and life to the character listening to this!

this is a do not miss 5 star read!!
