A different Helldivers but great

I thought this was going to be a prequel to Helldivers 2, it’s not but it’s really good. Almost the same idea but on a post apocalyptic Earth over 200 years from now. Worth the listen and I’ll keep going with the story.

I enjoyed this one. It gave you some much needed backstory to the meds that Disney put on screen…and it follows characters we actually know. Overall, very good and worth your time.

Just like the other books, it really wasn’t very good compared to the original Rogue Squadron books. Forgettable story with forgettable characters. I would much rather have Wedge, Tycho, and Corran back.

Compared to Legends, these books just aren’t very good. Rogue squadron was 10x better than what this has been. The narrator changed but still isn’t very good compared to Marc Thompson. We’ll see how it ends but I’m not expecting much.

A complete disappointment

Really I’ve heard such good things for this book. I really can’t say anything good about it. It’s slow, doesn’t follow anything we know, and really doesn’t matter. It’s a complete disappointment. I listened to it and compared to Mark Thompson, the narrator isn’t able to get the listener into a believable story.
