Historia
Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google are the four most influential companies on the planet. Just about everyone thinks they know how they got there. Just about everyone is wrong. For all that's been written about the Four over the last two decades, no one has captured their power and staggering success as insightfully as Scott Galloway. Instead of buying the myths these companies broadcast, Galloway asks fundamental questions.

Sounds like the cut out some parts
Revisado: 11-17-18
Unfortunately it sounds like this audiobooks has some parts cut out and you can hear it. For example 2:53 min before ending chapter 3 - unfortunately also at other parts till then but I did not take notes and I tolerated it till now, when I decided this is too much. Perhaps this sounds paranoid, but it seems like the publisher explicitly wants you not to know certain ideas or information, but did a bad work in cutting those parts out without affecting the story telling and line.

Historia
Area X has been cut off from the rest of the continent for decades. Nature has reclaimed the last vestiges of human civilisation. This is the twelfth expedition. Their group is made up of four women: An anthropologist; a surveyor; a psychologist, the de facto leader; and our narrator, a biologist. Their mission is to map the terrain and collect specimens; to record all their observations, scientific and otherwise, of their surroundings and of one another; and, above all, to avoid being contaminated by Area X itself.

My opinion
Revisado: 01-30-18
I have listened to the story and the performance by the speaker was very good. The story itself has a nice beginning but after a while it gets somehow repetitious. Nevertheless interesting viewpoint.

Historia
Signals is the story of the world economy, told in the language of everyday objects, places and events - from magazine covers and supermarkets to public protests. Pippa Malmgren argues that by being alert to the many signals around us, we can be empowered to deal with the varied troubles and treasures the world economy inevitably brings. Economics is not just maths and data. Perfume and makeup are part of the world economy, too.

Historia
While modern medicine produces miracles, it also delivers care that is too often unsafe, unreliable, unsatisfying, and impossibly expensive. For the past few decades, technology has been touted as the cure for all of healthcare's ills. But medicine stubbornly resisted computerization - until now. Over the past five years, thanks largely to billions of dollars in federal incentives, health care has finally gone digital.

A background overview about healthcare IT
Revisado: 08-12-17
This audiobook allowed me to get a good overview that gives you se hints about the difficulties of healthcare IT. Although it provides many examples the depth is shallow but nevertheless pretty accurate. It goes over a huge range of issues focusing primarily from a healthcare professional and patient's perspective.
To sum up, for all those interested in healthcare IT a very useful book.
