Wild Ride
Revisado: 06-27-18
The Allman Brothers are one of my favorites to this day. This memoir fills in all the blanks for me and brings meaning to the songs that I never knew. After listening to this biography, I hear the songs in a whole new light now. Thanks Gregg, for the music and for this book. Allman Brothers fans, this is a must read.

Another great book from Greg Iles, I really enjoyed it. Scott Brick is excellent as usual and really brings this story to life. Wondering if this is the end of this series.

Historia
The Profiler's Daughter is a psychologically haunting thriller that combines murder mystery, love triangle, and family intrigue in one satisfying page burner. Sky Stone was born into the wealth and privilege of Boston's oldest Brahmin family but chooses instead to follow in the footsteps of her deceased father, legendary FBI profiler Monk Stone. In the chilly morning hours before the Boston Marathon, when a beautiful university student is found strangled and mutilated, her body left at the base of Heartbreak Hill, Sky returns from self-imposed exile to investigate.

Bored to death - could not finish
Revisado: 04-29-14
Made it to the half way point (10 hrs) and bailed. I actually wanted to stop earlier but kept pushing on hoping it would get better, it didn't. I was bored to death. There was nothing exciting to keep my attention. The narrators voices other than Sky's were overacted, not good, and very distracting. Oh well...wasted credit.

Any additional comments?
Tried to listen up to chapter 10, then had to abandon. It just did not grab my attention at all. Another wasted credit.

I liked it despite the narrator
Revisado: 08-23-12
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
It kept me listening as I wanted to find out what came next in the story's What Comes Next plot.
What aspect of William Roberts’s performance would you have changed?
I did not like his voices for this story at all. I hope the author changes the narrator for his next book.

Historia
Maximizing the trader's state of mind is the key to successful results. Conflicts, contradictions, and paradoxes in thinking can spell disaster for even a highly motivated, astute and well-grounded trader. Mark Douglas, an industry consultant since 1982, sends the message that a "thinking strategy" will profoundly influence a trader's success rate. Douglas addresses five very specific issues to give traders the insight and understanding about themselves that will make them consistent winners in the market.

Historia
As Sheriff John Weber would attest, the deadliest predators to date in his tiny hamlet were the alligators lurking in the nearby swamps. But that was before someone abducted and murdered a runaway teenage girl...and before the disappearance of popular and pretty Liana Martin. The pattern is chilling to Sandy Crosbie, the town's new high school English teacher who wishes she'd never come to the seemingly quiet town with shocking depths of scandal, sex, and brutality roiling beneath its surface.
