Great story about Cuba!

I definitely learned something about Cuban history through this book. I enjoyed the parallel stories and it kept my interest throughout.

Historia
Mitch Rapp hates owing anyone a favor—especially when it’s the world’s most powerful crime lord. But when Damian Losa calls, Mitch is honor bound to answer. The Syrian government has created a highly addictive new narcotic that it plans to distribute throughout Europe. It’s a major threat to Losa’s business and he’s determined to stop it by any means necessary. Rapp is the perfect choice for the mission. Not only does he have extensive experience operating in the Middle East, but he’s also entirely expendable.

Good Book Typical Mitch Rapp
Revisado: 10-31-23
The story is getting a bit thin but it is still very entertaining. I am not sure where this story is headed with Kyle Mills stepping down. It was such a seamless transition from Vince Flynn (RIP). I still enjoyed every minute. The narrator is an improvement as well.

Historia
Arrangements in Blue elegantly honors the life lived completely by—and for—oneself. Inspired by Joni Mitchell’s seminal album Blue, celebrated British poet Amy Key sets out to examine the volatile scales of romantic feeling as she has encountered them: from the low notes of loss and unfulfilled desire—punctuated by sharp, discordant feelings of jealousy and regret—to the deep harmony of friendship and the highs defined by sexual attraction and self-realization.

Terrible narrator but good message
Revisado: 10-10-23
So I did like the book. It talks of loneliness and want of romance. But she goes on and on and it kind of ends up going nowhere. Her voice is not made for audiobooks. I had to increase the speed to 1.2 then 1.5x speed to even get through it. She speaks so slowly and pauses so much that it is unbearable. Buy/rent the book and read it in print. Don’t listen to it.

Historia
Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert's story of growing up with two dads - his real father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad - and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you. In the 20th anniversary edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we’ve seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy.

Super annoying Narration by Tom Parks
Revisado: 08-07-22
My major gripe with this audiobook is the narration by Tom Parks. He makes me want to punch him. Tom Parks makes the author sound like a jerk. I think they should re-record the book with someone who sounds like a normal person. I don’t agree with everything in this book, but Kiyosaki has some good points. I think he completely disrespects his biological father and constantly undermines what most people do in their lives. I get the rich don’t pay taxes, but I definitely believe in social programs, which taxes pay for. Kiyosaki is out of touch and with hero’s like Trump I’m sure he will always be. I won’t be listening to any more of his books or adding to his wealth in this way. Now I can say I read this book though.
