Thrilling story of Palpatine’s rise to power

Yes the book is titled Plagues but the story is as much if not more about Palpatine. It’s almost as good as Darth Banes books. It’s a very good read or listen.

What’s going on. I wrote 2 reviews on this book. I suffered through to the end. This is a woke gay lesbian love story. Fine. What it isn’t is a Star Wars Story. I have followed loves and listened to Audible Star Wars books for over 30 years. This is by far the worst “Star Wars” book I’ve ever suffered through. This is no Timothy Zahnn style Star Wars. This isn’t even Star Wars. That and there was so much Criffing cursing it was I couldn’t stand it. There is no blasted cursing in Star Wars. I mean stang what where they thinking trying to pass this off as a Star Wars story. Hell it wasn’t even a story about Cal. It was all about Mirr and her weird sexual obsession with this imp she just meet. I and so disappointed with whoever green lit this book. If George Lucas read this his head would explode. But here we are. And I’m disappointed that 2 of my reviews have been deleted. Hopefully this one stays and helps others from waisting their time on this woke garbage. Please keep your agendas out of Star Wars.

I’ve listened to all the legacy era and fate of the Jedi series including the dark nest trilogy. I just re-listened to the fate of the Jedi series recently after some of the X-Wing series and was hearing references to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and subsequently the war but never listened to any of the New Jedi order books save Vector Prime which was a good book but I never had a chance to listen to all the other books. So I am listening to them now. I have to say this one is the best one by far. Outstanding. I was riveted hanging on ever chapter. And even though I already knew Ganner Rhysode was going to die on a hill of bodies it was still sad to see. And after hearing so much about Vergere it was really awesome to see how she shaped Jacen Solo into becoming Darth Caedus.
