Historia
Alexander Rosenberg was a smart and curious teenager who spoke many languages, and lived a pampered life with his parents in a tranquil Czechoslovakian town. The rise of fascism and Nazi Germany causes his protected existence to collapse, alongside the illusion of secular Jewish assimilation in 1930s Europe. Using their last reserves of wealth and influence to escape extermination, the Rosenbergs go underground to avoid the Gestapo. Eventually exposed, captured, and taken to Buchenwald, the largest concentration camp in Germany, Alexander and his father collaborate to survive one day at a time

Why are we so tired all the time? Why aren’t we getting the rest and care we need to help ourselves feel more energized? In almost every conversation with a client, exhaustion is sitting there with us and part of the conversation. Sure, we can blame the pandemic, the state of the world, etc. But, this show is called The Inside Job, after all, so let’s explore that. In this episode, we try to understand what could be going on, what we’re seeing in our client’s lives and in our own lives, and what we think we can start to explore or experiment with to start getting different outcomes. ...

The New Standard for DEI Books
Revisado: 11-30-23
I cannot say enough about, "Reimagine Inclusion". I have read up on DEI for years and most things within a corporate environment have seemed like bandaids, sometimes just for show.
What I love about this book is that it's straight-shooting and progressive, focused on sustainable strategies to increase diversity in the workforce. Extensive research has been done in support of the author's recommendations, which are actionable.
I appreciate how the book focuses on the true benefits that properly appreciating and supporting diversity will bring all companies.
"Reimagine Inclusion" has set a new standard for DEI and I recommend this book for everyone, regardless of your organizational role or background.

Best Leadership Book of 2023
Revisado: 08-03-23
Easily one of the best leadership book of 2023, I highly recommend “Burn the Boats” as a must-read. I was empowered to ‘be courageous’ after inhaling so many meaningful and applicable strategies in the book.
The book reflected some original thinking, helping guide leaders on what it takes to truly realize your dreams. As a lifetime learner and bibliophile, I rarely read a book that makes me rethink some decisions while better understanding past success drivers simultaneously. No doubt comparisons will be made over time on the book impacting leaders in ways similar to “Atomic Habits”.
As an executive coach and former corporate executive, I have seen too many people trip themselves up from following their dreams an passions. Many don’t realize the inherent risks and costs of not going ‘all-in’ and giving themselves no option other than to succeed. They often prescribe permanence to the downside of tough decisions they’re making.
I love how the author not only supports this idea with examples of success ranging from military history to current business success. Matt Higgins, thank you for empowering me through your book. I love how you drew strength from your own personal challenges and appreciate your candor. Your inspiration will be broad reaching, helping better the community around you.
