Historia
Is it possible our world is just one big high school lunchroom? In a world fraught with polarization and division—where we form separate tables based on political beliefs, skin color, economic status, theological ideas, and personal preferences—can we find a way to live differently, more aligned with the ways of Jesus? In Lunchroom Theology, Heather Gorman and Mark Nelson confront our societal and theological rifts, and by weaving together scriptural and sociological insights, they expose the many ways our contemporary divisions are mirrored by the church today.

What we need
Revisado: 11-20-24
This is an excellent book for the modern church. It paints a picture of all the division that we are constantly aware of. Then, it proceeds to make a great argument for why we need to put aside our differences and strive toward unity over all. The authors do an incredible job at keeping your attention as well as staying true to God’s word. What am incredible read!

Character Development
Revisado: 03-21-24
I really enjoy how not only Thrawn grows as a character but he grows the people around him as well. He’s not here to show off but to teach and guide. I also enjoy how some characters develop differently than you would expect.

Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Good story
Revisado: 01-17-24
I enjoyed this book very much. I think it’s the best in the series so far. The narrator put me to sleep at times. I couldn’t listen while driving long distances. At any point of the story (slow, action packed, spicy, anything), I struggled to stay awake unless I was actively doing something.

Historia
Thrawn’s latest triumph still rests newly on his shoulders. He has led the Chiss to victory and brought glory to the House of Mitth, but the true threat to the Ascendancy has not yet been extinguished. Their foes do not send threats or ultimatums, do not mass ships on the edge of the Chaos. Their weapons come cloaked in smiles and generosity: Gifts offered freely. Services granted unconditionally. Across the Ascendancy, seemingly inconsequential events could herald the doom of the Chiss.

A lot of dry spots but good overall
Revisado: 06-23-23
This seems like a transition book between 1 and 3. It feels really slow. It’s good and well thought out and necessary, but you gotta push through. During the last couple of chapters, it really grabbed me though; once I saw where we were going.

Good not great
Revisado: 05-17-23
I enjoyed this book. It’s not the greatest book that I’ve read but it is good. It’s not anything profound but it’s a good read. The voice acting wasn’t too different from character to character and that got a little confusing at times. I still recommend this book for anyone who likes the character Ahsoka.
