Historia
Tension is mounting in the rift. With the situation dire, Wil is tasked to train a group of 20 young men to serve as his officers - collectively, the Primus Elites. He has five years to raise them to full Agents, and he'll need every minute. Training alongside them, Wil still needs to master simultaneous observation. But the closer he gets to achieving the feat, the more likely the Aesir will come to test him - to see if he's worthy of the Cadicle title bestowed on him at conception.

I want so much to enjoy this series, but the dialog is so weak and unrealistic. It just pulls me out of the story over and over. Every time people speak I think, "no one really talks that way." It reads like someone imagining what a conversation should sound like rather than an actual adult conversation. It really makes you appreciate an author who writes good dialog.

Historia
It’s only a slight exaggeration to say that the British mathematician Alan Turing (1912-1954) saved the Allies from the Nazis, invented the computer and artificial intelligence, and anticipated gay liberation by decades--all before his suicide at age forty-one. This classic biography of the founder of computer science, reissued on the centenary of his birth with a substantial new preface by the author, is the definitive account of an extraordinary mind and life.

I enjoyed it, but could have cut 5'hours.

I really enjoyed the early portions, but the second half dragged. It was important, but I lost interest.
