Historia
Alex Gladstein has a lot to say about Bitcoin, human rights, financial privilege, and personal freedom. In Check Your Financial Privilege, he says it, starting with the fact that anyone born into a reserve currency like the euro, yen, or pound has financial privilege over the 89 percent of the world population born into weaker systems. As CSO of the Human Rights Foundation, Gladstein is uniquely positioned to detail the rise of Bitcoin from cypherpunk dream to the real-life Bitcoin stories happening to real people across the globe.

Detail on the structure of super imperialism

Extremely insightful!
Very good examples, especially interviews in countries that use Bitcoin.
In South Africa I have experienced this first hand and for any US political leader ir banker to say there is now use, shows their total ignorance!

Historia
1945. In the waning months of World War II, Japan hid vast quantities of gold and other stolen valuables in boobytrapped underground caches all across the Philippines. By 1947 some of that loot was recovered, not by treasure hunters, but by the United States government, which told no one about the find. Present day. Retired Justice Department operative, Cotton Malone, is in Switzerland doing a favor for a friend. But what was supposed to be a simple operation turns violen.

Very well researched

Historical facts, bitcoin information and financial context was welk researhed in a fast moving and exciting storyline.
This is a valuable contribution into the bitcoin ecosystem to help educate people and even though it is mostly fiction, it will definitely promote adoption and hopefully more self study into bitcoin.

Historia
We live in an extraordinary time. Technological advances are happening at a rate faster than our ability to understand them, and in a world that moves faster than we can imagine, we cannot afford to stand still. These advances bring efficiency and abundance - and they are profoundly deflationary. Our economic systems were built for a pre-technology era when labor and capital were inextricably linked - an era that counted on growth and inflation and an era where we made money from inefficiency.

Great book, I expected more discussion on how Bitcoin …
Revisado: 09-16-23
I expected more discussion on how Bitcoin will benefit from deflation.
I am also reading this 7 months before the next halving and with ETF talks, presidential candidates backing btc and inflation in Argentina at record highs, things look more obvious than when Jeff wrote this.
Need to listen to it a second time now 😊

Loving your enemies....
Revisado: 11-22-18
As we all know, this is really really hard! Bob has helped me even while reading this book to do love when everything in me wanted to justify how righteous I was, but the soft voice of the Holy Spirit showed me the love of Jesus when my nature was kicking and screaming against it.
Tnx
Bob

Historia
On account of the superficial points of agreement between Islam and Christianity, many don't see how tremendously deep the divides between them really are, and fewer still have considered the evidence for each faith. How is jihad different from the Crusades? Can we know the life of Jesus as well as the life of Muhammad? What reason is there to believe in one faith over the other, and what difference can the Gospel really make?

Helping to renew medical thinking
Revisado: 01-21-17
Where does Quantum Christianity: Believe Again rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book rank in the top 3
What did you like best about this story?
There is so much more that we do not know about God. Healing should be a common thing and miracles should be the norm.
Which scene was your favorite?
Aaron asked a pastor that prayed for people to be healed and seeing this happen, why him....
If you could give Quantum Christianity: Believe Again a new subtitle, what would it be?
In years to come science will prove Gods goodness, lets keep on knocking!
Any additional comments?
As medical doctor this book confirmed so much of what I have seen over the last 7 years. there is more, a lot more than we can see. God is working in mighty ways to teach people all over the world to let His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We have to beleive, speak and act it into action.
