The story is great and you can tell the author loves his craft and loves his story.
The voice recording has also come a long way from the first edition.

Great firefly story

My only complaint was the jarring switch when it switched to the female narrator. Her parts were a lot louder for me and (understandably) much different than the usual narrator.
The accent got to be a bit much, but it’s understood why it was there.
Each performer did great for their respective parts though.

Seriously, the premise is good but like nothing happens and if something does he easily takes care of it.
The narrator was awesome but I don’t even think someone like Travis Baldree could have helped this.

Cheesy but got me hooked

It started just as something that I didn’t have to spend a credit on. the main character is a cheesy meme version of Han Solo or Mal Reynolds, but… it got me hooked and ended up sinking credit after credit to get the whole story.
The story had its up and downs but I enjoyed listening to the series.
Yeah, there is a lot of cursing but he’s a Renegade, dammit.
