Pros
Story line is a lot more believable of something that would possibly happen if this happened in real life don’t want to ruin the story for anyone but most these types of books have the good guys dealing with near miss after near miss and walking away in the end with all the main characters with just bumps and bruises were as this books is a lot more down to reality he doesn’t sugar coat it and shows the happy with the sad and how people in the real word would probably deal with it well rounded and look forward to the next book also I normally have the few couple narrators I try to stick with being you can have the best story line and book but if you have a bad narrator can ruin the whole book this was not the case with this book believe I found another one to add to the list

Cons
Only thing I would of like to see done different was I feel we’re the book left off was not the most ideal place didn’t leave me in suspense in the way were you just can’t wait for the next book almost felt like there should of been another chapter or two to build up the story line a little for the next book

Overall
Good story line I will be looking forward to the next book to come out had wished the second book was out when I listened to the first if so there probably wouldn’t of been anything under the cons list

EMP book like nothing I have read before

Finished this book about a week ago why making my 10+ hour drive to work I ended up listening to it from start to finish non stop wished it was longer but hope since it said it was book one that he intends to right more to this story look forward to getting it I have yet to listen to any of A J Newman’s book I didn’t really enjoy and always seem to not want to put them down this book shows a different twist from most EMP books and it was nice to listen to something that takes the story in a different direction then most others and would recommend it to anyone that is interested in books about EMP’s and the end of civilization as it was also the narrator does a amazing job at painting a picture in your head and keeping your attention look forward to listening to more books by this author or narrator

Amazing

I was hooked after the first book on the road a lot so listen to a lot of books usually just why driving but got so caught up in story line I caught my self listening to these books all the time and finished the first 3 a lot faster then expected almost finished with the next box set of 3 now only a few days after finishing the first box set so now I’m going to have to find something else before the next road trip was hoping to stretch them out a little longer so could make several trips before having to find something else but haven’t been able to put this series down the narrator does a amazing job painting the picture in your head like you were there watching it yourself will defiantly be checking out similar books he narrates in the future
