A masterful tale with endless possibilities

The author compiled 3 compelling MC’s that intersected at just the right times. Combined with my knowledge of this world from the Victor of Tucson series, it’s well set up for a momentous grand finale. I’m wondering if the author will culminate both series in one momentous book or if the paths will simply cross over from time to time. I am intrigued to see where this is going. Can’t wait for the next book.

This might be fantasy, but the sneaky shenanigans are as compelling as watching a Trump trial. Great book and wonderful audio voice.

I chose this book based on the overview. It has all the elements I love in a book, Mil. Sci-fi, fantasy and even some Gamelit. Everything comes together seamlessly and the story is totally original, nothing like the usual offerings. I can't wait for the next book.

A rippling rollercoaster ride

A thoroughly entertaining and wonderful addition to the series. There were some shocks, and definitely some surprises. No matter how many times Jim describes a spell or process, he always finds a new way to say it. A truly great author. Thanks for the inspiration.

David Weber is a firm favorite of my go-to authors. The Honor Harrington series sits amongst greats such as Forester's Horatio Hornblower series. I can confidently say this new series will catapult to those heights easily. Well worth the credit.

I loved this entire series. Honor Harrington represents the best we could only hope to be. Thank you David Weber for spending the time and energy in creating this wonderful series of inspirational and compelling novels. I can't recommend them enough.

A truly remarkable book.

I felt this book more than read it. It made me think of all the injustices heaped upon disabled people. People who not only have to contend with their own setbacks, but also with a prejudiced 'normal' population. For them to transcend requires guts, understanding and patience. It also requires more than a little luck. This book is filled with deep introspection, and gives but a glimpse of autism and how it effects those with it. The adventurous spirit of the MC is an anomaly but necessary for plot progression. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
